I still remember a while back somebody shared/wrote on here a long argument about why we shouldn’t punish or even outlaw drunk driving.

Stupidest fucking shit I’ve ever seen.

let all the idiots go ahead and kill themselves and not take up jail space and tax payer money from it.

Headlights still functioning after all that? Not bad for an FCA car!

Right. Because other people getting killed by drunk drivers is not a thing.

lol I think I shared that from Reddit. Whole thing was a giant fallacy. It was amusing watching the responses.

If drunk drivers solely only hurt themselves, I would be fine with it. It is the other people they hit.

Sometimes that little /s makes a world of difference. I usually forgo it because I think it looks silly, and almost always regret doing so.

I know you’re not serious but I’ll answer as if you were.

This would be a fine solution if they only hurt themselves. I’ve known several victims of drunk drivers, myself included. In a perfect world.....

usually they end up killing others. I know a guy who was read ended twice a 70+ MPH riding his motorcycle by drink drivers. The 2nd time killed him.

I know a man whose wife and 5 year old child was killed by a rich Ferrari driver street racing as well though so that is just as dangerous.

And think about all the extra revenue hospitals, morgues, and funeral homes will receive from the collateral damage!

the only problem is that they often injure/kill innocent people.

Well, two good things came out of this:

1. The car is now prettier

2. The car is also now off of the road, along with its driver.

Win-win.
